As an experienced Project Manager, John has over 25 years of experience in the management and engineering of Industrial Automation. 

He has experience managing over $100MMUSD of projects over a seventeen (17) year experience

He has had full scope responsibilities for the full project life cycle from project initiation through design, production, test, installation and startup.

John has experience with delivery of new Distributed Control Systems for new facilities, primarily in Utilities including Combined Cycle Power Plants, Coal/Oil/Gas Power Plants, Renewables (Biomass) Power Plants, Water Treatment Plants.

He also has experience in other Industrial, Process  and Government facilities.

He also has experience with upgrade of legacy systems whether through upgrade or complete replacement of obsolete systems.

Training


John is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.

He has also participated in numerous corporate Project Management Trainings while working for Siemens, Metso and ABB.

John has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

He also attended graduate courses at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma in the areas of Instrumentation,  Control Systems, Computer Aided Design, Artificial Intelligence

John is a regular speaker, evaluator and Toastmaster at his local Toastmaster organization.

 

John participates in the Advanced Technology Development Center at the Georgia Tech – Enterprise Innovation Center

John previously has participated as a technical member in the Instrumentation Society of America (ISA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
